15 March 2020 - Public Holiday – observance of the 1848 Hungarian Revolution - Every year, on the occasion of Hungary’s March 15th national holiday, historic Budapest sites welcome the public to honor the Magyars’ 1848 Revolution against the Austrian Empire. The ceremony includes political speeches, military processions, free tours around the Hungarian Parliament and complimentary entrance to many of the city’s museums.
